Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is an electromedical that aims to remove the excess of stagnant interstitial fluid in the subcutaneous tissue and to promote the recovery of the venous and lymphatic circulation respecting the physiology of the circle and the anatomical structures concerned. Pressotherapy exerts compression through inflatable sleeves that are applied to the various areas of the body to which a variable and programmed dynamic pressure is transmitted depending on the pathology. The use of pressotherapy is strictly recommended in combination with manual vascular-lymphatic rehabilitation treatments such as lymphatic drainage.

Pressotherapy is indicated in cases of:

  • Phlebopathy
  • Primary and secondary lymphedema
  • Healed ulcers
  • Venous insufficiency
  • Varicose veins and extra-safe varicosities
  • Outcomes of plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Post-traumatic edema
  • Premenstrual and pregnant edemas
  • Cosmetic treatment outcomes (e.g. liposuction)
