BIBIONE THERMAE pursues the goal of curing and preventing diseases that find therapeutic benefit in the thermal environment.
We cooperate with physicians and specialized operators that work focusing on the improvement of the quality of life of those who submit to the various treatments in the respect of the above-mentioned principles, meeting the criteria of equality and recognizing the rights of sick people, while asking all guests to respect the other carers in the structure and considering the work of operators.
The regulation, updated whenever necessary, must be read and respected by everyone.
General rules:
1. The medical examination for admission to the spa treatments is mandatory. The time of access appears on the signs posted at the entrance.
2. The patients must strictly follow the therapeutic schedules prescribed by the spa doctor and undergo any diagnostic examinations provided for particular treatment cycles.
3. To achieve effective therapeutic results, the patients must carry out treatment cycles of at least two weeks.
4. It is necessary to avoid fasting treatments from the previous evening. It is advisable to have breakfast in the morning, taking tea or coffee together with quickly digestible foods that can provide an adequate energy intake such as fruit jams or honey. It is advisable to avoid taking milk and yoghurt whose digestion takes place in longer periods, or to take them at least two hours before the cure.
5. During the first days of treatment, for direct influence of thermal therapy, slight subjective disturbances may appear ("thermal crisis"); in this case the patient can contact the health staff of the Spa for appropriate control and treatment of symptoms.
6. To access the mud balneotherapy, the use of clean slippers suitable for swimming pool is mandatory. Before entering the pools, it is mandatory to shower and wear a swimming cap.
7. After grottotherapy or mud balneotherapy, it is necessary that the patients wait least twenty minutes to allow an adequate development of the "reaction phase", which is an integral part of the treatment.
8. You should reduce physical activity and sun exposure during the treatment period.
9. To avoid inconvenience to other patients and the proper functioning of care facilities, we invite you to respect the scheduled times.
10. Smoking is forbidden inside the Spa.
11. The use of mobile phones is prohibited in the treatment rooms. Phones must be switched off and stored in the appropriate storage compartments.
12. The patients and the visitors must wear appropriate clothing and maintain a proper behaviour in accordance with the thermal environment.
13. Silence must be observed in all departments with respect for those who are undergoing the treatments.
14. In order to avoid inconvenience among the patients who follow thermal balneotherapy, mud therapy and massotherapy, scrupulous observance of the assigned schedule is recommended.
General information:
a) Constant health care is provided for those undergoing spa treatments. The emergency room is equipped with the necessary medicines. For any request or medical issue, you can contact the staff in charge of the various departments who will notify the medical personnel directly.
b) For the booking of treatment, specialist visits, diagnostic and instrumental examinations or for further treatments, you can contact the reception staff directly.
The regulations for pool access and use, established by Management, are posted at the entrance to the locker rooms and in the pool relaxation areas.
Access and Hours
• Pool Hours: The thermal pools are accessible during the hours posted at the entrance.
• Closing Time: Staying in the thermal pools is only allowed until half an hour before the closing time of the thermal facility.
• High Attendance: In cases of high attendance, entry may be temporarily closed.
• Loungers: In cases of maximum attendance, there may not be enough loungers for all guests.
Hygiene and Safety Rules
• Mandatory Shower: A soapy shower is required before accessing the pools.
• Swimwear and Flip-Flops: Wearing appropriate swimwear and pool flip-flops is mandatory.
• Swim Cap: Wearing a swim cap is mandatory in the thermal pools.
• Health Conditions: Bathers must be free from infectious diseases, wounds, or any conditions considered incompatible with access to the pools.
• Medical Check-Up: The Management reserves the right to request a medical check-up at any time.
• Improper Behavior: Access or stay is not permitted for individuals under the influence of alcohol or exhibiting improper behavior, both in and out of the pools.
• Disturbance of Peace: The Management reserves the right to deny access to anyone disturbing the tranquility and decorum of the environment.
Code of Conduct
• Footwear: It is prohibited to enter barefoot or in street shoes; plastic or rubber flip-flops are mandatory. Only service staff may wear athletic shoes.
• Water Restrictions: Diving, pushing, jumping from pool edges, horseplay, and running along the pool edges are prohibited.
• Prohibited Accessories: The use of fins, masks, air mattresses, and glass or ceramic objects is forbidden in the pool area.
• Diving: Freediving is prohibited.
Usage and Stay Recommendations
• Stay Duration: It is advised not to stay in the thermal pools for more than 20 consecutive minutes.
• Time Between Meal and Swim: It is recommended to wait at least three hours between a meal and swimming in the thermal pool.
Prohibitions and Restrictions
• Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all pool facilities.
• Food and Beverages: Consuming food and beverages in areas adjacent to the pools and relaxation areas is prohibited; bringing food from outside is not allowed.
Additional Information
• Responsibility for Personal Belongings: The Management is not responsible for damage or theft of personal belongings brought in or stored in lockers.
• Liability for Accidents: The Management disclaims any responsibility for damage or accidents caused by guest carelessness.
• Membership Validity: Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Children Under 3 Years: Children under the age of 3 must wear suitable containment swimwear for pools.
The regulations for accessing and using the Wellness Area, prepared by the Management, are available at reception and posted at the entrance of the Wellness Area.
Access and Hours
- Wellness Area Hours: The Wellness Area is accessible during the hours displayed at the entrance.
- Early Closing: Guests may remain in the Wellness Area only until half an hour before the thermal facility closes.
- Crowding: In case of high attendance, entries may be temporarily closed.
- Loungers: During peak times, there may not be enough loungers for all guests present.
Hygiene and Safety Rules
- Mandatory Shower: A soapy shower is mandatory before accessing the Wellness Area.
- Swimwear and Sarong: Wearing a swimsuit or sarong is mandatory, preferably made of cotton or non-synthetic fabric.
- Minimum Age and Physical Conditions: Access to the sauna and various cabins is prohibited for minors under 14 years old and for those not in perfect physical or hygienic conditions.
- Hot Shower: It is mandatory to take a hot shower and dry off thoroughly before starting the cycle in the saunas or different cabins.
- Medical Check-Up: Management may request a medical check-up at any time.
- Prohibited Behaviors: Access or stay is prohibited for individuals who are intoxicated or display improper behavior, both in and out of the pool.
- Disturbance of Peace: Management reserves the right to deny access to anyone who disturbs the tranquility and decorum of the environment.
Behavioral Rules
- Footwear: It is forbidden to enter barefoot or with casual shoes; plastic or rubber slippers are mandatory. Only service staff may wear sneakers.
- Entering the Sauna: Leave slippers outside the door before entering the sauna.
- Towel Usage: It is recommended to place a large towel on the bench before sitting down, so that no part of the body touches the wood directly.
- Time in Sauna: It is advisable to stay in the sauna for a maximum of 15 minutes.
- Maximum Capacity in Sauna: No more than 20 people may be present in the saunas at the same time.
- Aufguss: The Aufguss is performed only by staff authorized by Management, on the following days and times: Saturday and Sunday: 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, and 18:00. From Monday to Friday: 15:00, 17:00, and 19:00. It is prohibited to participate in more than three Aufguss sessions in one day.
Prohibitions and Restrictions
- Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the wellness area.
- Smoking on the Terrace: Smoking is also prohibited on the terrace of the wellness area.
- Food and Beverages: Consuming food and beverages in the areas adjacent to the pools and relaxation areas is prohibited; bringing food from outside is not allowed.
- Alcoholic Beverages: Consuming alcoholic beverages within the wellness area is prohibited.
- Water Usage in Saunas: Pouring water on hot stones is prohibited; for this operation, call the on-duty staff. It is also prohibited to pour essential oils or essences other than those provided by Management to avoid allergy risks.
- Personal Products: Bringing oils, salts, honey, products, and accessories of any kind into the saunas and steam baths is prohibited. It is also prohibited to bring drinks in glass containers or cans.
Usage and Stay Recommendations
- Duration of Stay: For saunas and cabins, follow the posted guidelines and consult staff for any clarifications.
- Relaxation: In the relaxation area, keep loungers free of personal belongings to allow for a regular rotation of guests.
- Order and Decorum: To maintain decorum, it is advised not to bring large backpacks, bags, or duffel bags into the wellness area.
Additional Information
- Responsibility for Personal Belongings: Management is not responsible for damage or loss of personal items brought or stored in the lockers.
- Liability for Incidents: Management disclaims any responsibility for damage or incidents caused by the guests' carelessness.
- Subscriptions: Subscriptions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Compliance with Instructions: Instructions from wellness area staff must be followed; those who do not respect the general rules or facility regulations may be asked to leave without a ticket refund.
The Management has issued a regulation that all guests of the wellness area are required to respect.

2. If it is the first session, it is recommended to arrive well in advance so as to carry out the bureaucratic formalities (payments, copy of reports, etc.)
3. The cancellation of a therapy must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Otherwise, the session will be counted and no longer recoverable
4. Late guests will be treated for the remaining time provided by the original booking, so it will not be possible to guarantee the entire duration
5. The secretarial office of the Thermal Rehabilitation Area reserves the right to make possible changes in schedule and therapist
6. Failure to attend the first meeting without prior notice will result in the cancellation of all subsequent meetings. The paid and not performed treatments can be recovered within 6 MONTHS from the date of suspension. The Health Department reserves the right to request a medical certificate for the resumption of treatment or a check-up visit with a doctor on duty at our clinics
7. The end of rehabilitation treatment certificate or the rehabilitation file must be requested from the secretarial office: it will be issued within 10 working days from the moment of request
8. For the correct execution of the therapies, it is required to bring all medical-specialist prescriptions, charts and diagnostic tests (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.) during the first session
9. Inform the staff of any allergies to creams or medicines, presence of peace-makers, metal prostheses or pregnancy
