Watsu
In 1980 Harold Dull began to apply in hot water extensions and pressures of Zen Shiatsu learned in Japan. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the state of health of the body is linked to the continuous flow of Ki, that is, the vital energy, along the system of the meridian channels, on which the acupuncture points are located.
The action of water can restore this circulation, remove blockages and rebalance it. With the Watsu therapy we reach a state of calm by relieving our muscular and psychological tensions, letting ourselves flow free in the immersive warmth of the alkaline bicarbonate, sodium fluoride, water (34 °C - 35 °C) that flows at 52 °C in the hinterland of Bibione, with the stability of the support offered by the therapist, rocking and following the wave movement of the breath.
INDICATIONS
Watsu is useful for:
- Reduction of muscle tension
